Happy Wednesday, fellow crafters and jewelers. Today I am pleased to be able to share a quick and easy process for making an accessory set specially designed for young people. This model was created with vibrant colored beads and smiley face beads that remind us that we have infinite reasons to smile and celebrate life.	Feliz miércoles, amigos artesanos y joyeros. Hoy me complace poder compartir un proceso fácil y rápido para realizar un juego de accesorios especialmente diseñados para jóvenes. Este modelo fue creado con cuentas de colores vibrantes y unas cuentas con la estampa de caritas sonrientes que nos recuerdan que tenemos infinitos motivos para sonreír y celebrar la vida.

Feliz miércoles, amigos artesanos y joyeros. Hoy me complace poder compartir un proceso fácil y rápido para realizar un juego de accesorios especialmente diseñados para jóvenes. Este modelo fue creado con cuentas de colores vibrantes y unas cuentas con la estampa de caritas sonrientes que nos recuerdan que tenemos infinitos motivos para sonreír y celebrar la vida.


The accessory set includes a pair of earrings and a medium length necklace. Let's first see how to make the necklace and I leave you a list of the materials that can always vary according to the preference of the maker: 25 centimeters of medium size golden chain. Murano crystals in three sizes: 4mm, 3mm and 2mm. 3 beads with smiley face print. Nylon thread. 3 golden rings, 2 pair of tiles, two pins and parrot beak hook.	El set de accesorios cuenta con un par de aretes y collar de largo medio. Veamos primero cómo hacer el collar y les dejo una lista de los materiales que siempre pueden variar según la preferencia de quien los elabore: 25 centímetros de cadena dorada de tamaño medio. Cristales de Murano en tres tamaños: de 4mm, 3mm y 2mm. 3 cuentas con estampado de cara sonriente. Hilo de nylon. 3 argollas doradas, 2 par de azulejos, dos alfileres y gancho pico de loro.

El set de accesorios cuenta con un par de aretes y collar de largo medio. Veamos primero cómo hacer el collar y les dejo una lista de los materiales que siempre pueden variar según la preferencia de quien los elabore: 25 centímetros de cadena dorada de tamaño medio. Cristales de Murano en tres tamaños: de 4mm, 3mm y 2mm. 3 cuentas con estampado de cara sonriente. Hilo de nylon. 3 argollas doradas, 2 par de azulejos, dos alfileres y gancho pico de loro.


Now let's go with the details of the process. First we pass a piece of nylon thread through the hole of a ring and tie it very well, cut the excess of nylon and seal it with a lighter. Then we place the beads. First we work with the yellow beads of 4mm and intersperse them with the different colors of 2mm. We start and finish with the smallest beads.	Ahora vamos con los detalles del proceso. Primero pasamos un trozo de hilo de nylon por el agujero de una argolla y lo amarramos muy bien, cortamos el sobrante de nylon y sellamos con un encendedor. Luego colocamos las cuentas. Primero trabajamos con las amarillas de 4mm y las intercalamos con los diferentes colores de 2mm. Empezamos y terminamos con las más pequeñas.

Ahora vamos con los detalles del proceso. Primero pasamos un trozo de hilo de nylon por el agujero de una argolla y lo amarramos muy bien, cortamos el sobrante de nylon y sellamos con un encendedor. Luego colocamos las cuentas. Primero trabajamos con las amarillas de 4mm y las intercalamos con los diferentes colores de 2mm. Empezamos y terminamos con las más pequeñas.


We are going to make a flower with the fuchsia beads. We place a 3mm bead. These are the fuchsia beads and then a smiley face bead plus 3 murano crystals. We return the nylon and pass it through the hole of the smiley face bead and we have one side of the flower ready. We place three more beads and we will have the opposite side of the flower. We continue placing the 4mm yellow crystals interspersed with the small ones of various colors. We finish by placing a second ring at the end. Tie and cut off the excess. We open the last link of each end of the chain and anchor it to the rings. Then we place half of the chain and open a link to place one more ring and the parrot beak hook.	Vamos a realizar una flor con las cuentas fucsias. Colocamos una cuenta de 3mm. Estas son la de color fucsia y seguidamente una cuenta de cara sonriente más 3 cristales de murano. Regresamos el nylon y lo pasamos por el orificio de la cuenta de cara sonriente y tenemos listo un lado de la flor. Colocamos tres cuentas más y tendremos el lado opuesto de la flor. Continuamos colocando los cristales amarillos de 4mm intercalados con los pequeños de colores variados. Terminamos colocando una segunda argolla en el extremo. Amarramos y cortamos los sobrantes. Abrimos el último eslabón de cada extremo de la cadena y lo anclamos a las argollas. Luego ubicamos la mitad de la cadena y abrimos un eslabón para colocar una argolla más y el gancho pico de loro.

Regresamos el nylon y lo pasamos por el orificio de la cuenta de cara sonriente y tenemos listo un lado de la flor. Colocamos tres cuentas más y tendremos el lado opuesto de la flor. Continuamos colocando los cristales amarillos de 4mm intercalados con los pequeños de colores variados. Terminamos colocando una segunda argolla en el extremo. Amarramos y cortamos los sobrantes. Abrimos el último eslabón de cada extremo de la cadena y lo anclamos a las argollas. Luego ubicamos la mitad de la cadena y abrimos un eslabón para colocar una argolla más y el gancho pico de loro.


The earrings are made in three extremely simple steps. We open a pin, attach it to the hook and close it. We place a 2mm blue glass, then a stamped bead and finally a fuchsia murano glass. We close the end of the pin forming a ring with the help of a plier. We repeated the process for the second earring.	Los aretes los realizamos en tres pasos extremadamente sencillos. Abrimos un alfiler, lo enganchamos al anzuelos y cerramos. Colocamos un cristal de 2mm color azul, luego una cuenta con estampado y finalmente un cristal de murano color fucsia. Cerramos el extremo del alfiler formando una argolla con la ayuda de una pinza. Repetimos el proceso para el segundo arete.

Repetimos el proceso para el segundo arete.


While I was making this set of accessories I was thinking a lot about how to wear them since the earrings are too long for my little Rafaella to wear, but it could be that she wears the necklace and I wear the earrings and that way we would be combined as mother and daughter. She would love it, I know that, because she likes us to visit each other in the same colors, although we can't do it often because our clothes tend to be neutral colors and hers are more vibrant, of course because she is a girl. Mientras realizaba este set de accesorios pensaba mucho en la forma de usarlos ya que los aretes son muy largos para que los pueda usar mi pequeña Rafaella, pero podría ser que ella use el collar y yo los aretes y así estaríamos combinadas como madre e hija. A ella le encantaría, eso lo sé, porque le gusta que nos visitamos de los mismos colores, aunque no lo podemos hacer con frecuencia ya que la ropa tiende a ser de colores neutrales y la de ella es más vibrante, desde luego porque es niña.
