The point is that starting from just threads or wool you can create beautiful and authentic pieces. Today I share with you a way to make a bracelet, which has a thickness that adds presence to it. I think that with this bracelet we don't need to wear anything more than a pair of earrings and it will look amazing. What we need to have to do it is a lot of patience and I say this because if there is someone like me, who wants to see fast results in the things he does, it is necessary not to be in a hurry with this activity.

El punto es que partiendo de solo hilos o lanas se pueden crear hermosas y auténticas piezas. Hoy les comparto una manera de realizar un brazalete, que tiene un grosor que le aporta presencia al mismo. Creo que con este brazalete no necesitamos colocarnos nada más que un par de aretes y lucirá increíble. Lo que tenemos que tener para hacerlo es mucha paciencia y lo digo por qué si hay alguien como yo, que quiere ver resultados rápido en las cosas que realiza, pues es necesario no estar apresurado con esta actividad.

The first thing to do is to define the thickness of the bracelet and depending on that, we make the disks. At first I thought that with discs of 18 points on the circumference was fine, but then I realized that it was too thick and I did not like it. So I tried a 12 point disc and chose this size because although it was still thick it didn't make it look grotesque. Let's get down to the details.

Lo primero que hay que hacer es definir el grosor de la pulsera y en función de ello, realizamos los discos. En principio pensé que con discos de 18 puntos en la circunferencia estaba bien, pero luego me dí cuenta que era exageradamente gruesa y no me gustó. Entonces probé con un disco de 12 puntos y elegí este tamaño porque aunque seguía siendo grueso no lo hacía parecer grotesco. Vamos con los detalles.

I made 50 discs of 12 low stitches on the circumference. Why 50, because this way we can organize them in groups of 5 when we assemble the bracelet. But this is not a rule, we can make them in groups of 3, 4 or more, only that then we must weave the amount of discs that is divisible by the number we select for the grouping and according to the number of colors we select. With the discs finished, we must knot very well and cut the excess yarns.

Realicé 50 discos de 12 puntos bajos en la circunferencia. Por qué 50?, porque así podremos organizarlos en grupos de 5 al momento de armar la pulsera. Pero esto no es una regla, podemos hacerlos en grupos de 3, 4 o más, solo que luego debemos tejer la cantidad de discos que sea divisible entre el número que seleccionemos para la agrupación y según la cantidad de colores que seleccionamos. Con los discos terminados, debemos anudar muy bien y cortar los hilos sobrantes.

After a long time of knitting discs, our creativity is activated again to have a crocheted heart. We make it with two pieces that are made over 5 single crochet stitches and then we increase to 10. One row without increases and we join the two pieces with slipped stitch to advance rows and then reduce the size to finish in a point. Fill in and close.

Después de largo rato de tejer discos, nuestra creatividad se activa nuevamente para tener un corazón a crochet. Lo realizamos con dos piezas que se realizan sobre 5 puntos bajos y luego aumentamos a 10. Una vuelta sin aumentos y unimos las dos piezas con punto deslizado para avanzar vueltas y luego ir reduciendo el tamaño para terminar en punta. Rellenamos y cerramos.

Now it's time to place the disks on a thin elastic. We pass one by one oriented in the same direction. We place a ring and chain to the sky reason and a couple of small silver pendants. We pass them through the elastic and tie them. We place a silicone stitch to secure the knot.

Es el turno de colocar los discos en un elástico delgado. Vamos pasando uno a uno orientados en el mismo sentido.
