We support the president. Not because we are stupid illiterates do not use their brains to think. In fact, we used our brains, because no matter how you, the high and mighty “intellectuals” want to complicate things, things are really just simple. It all boils down to results. Pres. Rodrigo Duterte, that crude provincial man you so hate, gets things done.
When, in the many years of “service” have any of your politicians gave farmers the land titles they deserve? For so many years the farmers, who have been feeding us with their sweat and blood, have yearned and long for ownership of the land they till, but you oh-so-mighty-intellectuals have deprived them of this. When you should have honored them with land titles, you’ve silenced them with a gun. We will never forget Hacienda Luisita.
Pres. Duterte, a man who grew up knowing the farmers and their struggles, made sure they get what they deserve. He satisfied the longing of their soul — that they can call the land their farm their own.
When have your politicians made sure your circle of “intellectuals” grow by making sure college education is available to everyone? You just want your circle small so you impose your brand of leadership and not be questioned. Too bad, us simpletons have finally seen the light. We can’t be fooled by you. We the stupid illiterates have finally learned.
Pres. Duterte made sure we think. He wants to be accountable to us, the Filipino people. He wants to keep us in check. He does not mind he criticizes him, as long as you don’t lie or deceive people with you lies. He causes us to analyze. He does not shove ideals down our throats. He presents it to us.
When have your politicians gotten the crime number down in successive periods? Never mind, don’t answer that. We stupid illiterates know to enough to conclude that since illegal drug was prevalent when the “intellectuals” were in power, crime was just at its heel.
We don’t want to make this long. Our point is, yes, we are not like you. We have not gone to lofty universities. Many of us have not even step foot on a university. But, we’ve see more than enough to continue to support our president.
