Grotto Canyon

This easy fairly level walk runs through a dry creekbed. In the Spring it will be full of fast moving water. The high smooth walls of rock are evidence of this.

An interesting trail, there was a waterfall, pictographs, hoodoos, and terrific views of

neighbouring mountains.

The trail continues up a mountain, but I only walked along the more level parts.

The wind was really blowing this day, maybe the geography of the canyon was a factor.

I will be coming back in the Spring, curious to see what it looks like full....

of rushing water.
