We are still in the middle of rainy season and monsoon storms. I have been following the directions of storms coming in towards Vietnam and Laos. I could tell that flash floods and mud slides would become prevalent in some parts of Vietnam and Laos. The pictures of big storms approaching southeast of China also indicate heavy rainstorms and flooding there. But I was more occupied by the likelihood of dams in China and Laos having excessive rainfall. They would have to release extra water to keep the safe levels of those dams.

My gardener phoned me in exciting voice that water from the river has started to flood the fruit trees at the far end of the garden. The water level in the river has risen two meters in one day. This year, there’s more up-to-date information on the water level situations. I could find the information on how much water was released by the dams in China and Laos. There are also precise official warnings about flooding during the five days. So, I could estimate how serious and how long the flooding would be this time.

I told her to stick a pole in the dry area so that we could see how fast the flood was moving towards the house. My gardener was quite anxious as some small plants would perish and the road could be flooded once again. I told her to get our friendly electrician as soon as the flood water reached the dirt road. He should switch off the electricity lever and dismantle the machine for automatically controlling the main gate.

After looking up all the reports on water levels, the rate of water being released from dams and reading the news on official discussions on the control release of water, I could conclude that the flooding would be short lived. People in Laos and upstream areas have already suffered badly from heavy rainfalls and mud slides, responsible officials have tried to mitigate their situations. I phoned my gardener for updates on the flood level in the evening. To my relief, the flood water had receded so all the young fruit trees have been saved.

I started praying as soon as I heard about the sudden flooding in Nongkhai. This time, we had sensible officials who could talk and cooperate with officials in Laos and China. The news about severe floodings in several parts of China made me feel very sad for those badly affected by floods. I did pray for heavy and persistent rains several weeks ago as I was afraid that we wouldn’t have enough water in the dams for the dry season. Later on I had to pray for less rainfall and bright dry weather for a week. But I thought the sudden changes in weather could be due to some geoengineering programs to damage the Chinese economies. I hoped someone would leak some satellite pictures and evidence in the near future. In the past, we could access evidence of HAARP manipulation for earthquakes in China and Turkey.

Cloudy weather in Bangkok has made the temperature much cooler and more pleasant for going out. Daytime heat and humidity in the city made it much worse than being in the countryside. I haven’t seen heavily cloudy sky in Bangkok for quite a long time. So, I went to Yannawa temple to feed the stray cats and take some pictures of dramatic and cloudy sky. Usually I wouldn’t go out on a rainy afternoon as the traffic could be heavy and cumbersome. But people were aftaid of traffic jams, so they didn’t get out which resulted in empty roads and pleasant atmosphere.

The pier was definitely the best spot for observing those dark clouds and the strong dark currents in the river. Looking at those dark clouds, I felt the power of nature expressed in the form of dark clouds and rainstorms. The bright blue sky a few hours earlier was changed into fields of busy and heavily dark clouds which kept on shifting and moving as if to consolidate their strength. I was afraid those clouds weren’t so pleased with me staring at them; they could express their displeasure by sending a quick lightening near me. I sent my humble compassion to appease those big clouds and thanked them for bring rain to the city.

I could sit there and watch the changing sky for several hours. Those dark clouds were quite mesmerising and they reflected moments in my life when dark clouds of problems seemed to suffocate me and pin me down forever. But those dark clouds were moving and changing all the time. Soon they would transform into drops of rain and the sky would become clear and lighter again. So, I maintained hope and prayers in my heart through good times and bad times. I knew that I had to continue with good karma and my prayers so that Divine intervention would favour me in times of needs. Luckily, big city like Bangkok still has lots of calm and peaceful spots for being with nature and good vibes.

Wishing you peace, good health and prosperity.

Stay strong and cheerful.
