Ramadan Day 22: Tefsir and Iftor

During the month of Ramadan prestine Muslim fast in this holy month to follow the the commandment of Allah and to follow the right step of the noble prophet Mohammed (S.A.W). During this month a lot of religious activities like feeding the needy, reading the holy book, attending lectures of Islamic clerics and a host of others. Muslim coper's Association of Nigeria (Barracks chapter) Ebonyi State organises their Ramadan lecture with Iftor at the Barracks central Mosque Nkwagu Military cantonment Abakaliki, Ebonyi State on the 23rd of April, 2022. It was a wonderful experience and a happy moment when this great day came to pass and our burden was relieved. I am the General secretary of the Association, I was scheduled with the responsibility of overseeing the program. I have faced a lot of challenges but all thanks to God who has been there for me. I will also appreciate our president and some other members in the committee. "Inappropriate appreciation leads to depreciation" on this note I thank all the people that contributed in kind, cash and even with their energy. May Almighty Allah ease your affairs and replenish your pocket, answer your silent prayers and forgive you of your sins.

We have many plans but I believe we did the best that God wanted. We planned to use the mosque and fill it with chairs instead of sitting on the carpet in the mosque. We planned to get exotic Biscuits, dates and drinks for everyone present. We also planned on inviting both the commanding officer 24 Service Engineering Regiment and 74 POL Reserve with some set of other individuals.
We are unable to get chairs, the reason being that they decide to choose people that will need more of their facilities than us, since we are just renting 72 chairs.
Both our highly invited guests were absent due reasonable reasons known to us before the program.
Our welfarism package goes the way we initiated. Our plan to start the program at 10:00am proved abortive due to the fact that our audience was few at that time and none of our invited guests were on sight.

The program started exactly at 11:00am and ended 1:05pm.
With the glory of God our invited speaker was able to deliver a sound speech on the title "lawful Earning: Islamic perspective". He was able to differentiate between lawful and unlawful earning. He quoted from the scriptures and the audience were pleased with his speech. We can't thank him enough but we pray Almighty Allah bless him with a better child than him and reward him with the best paradise.

As the chairman of the committee that oversees the program, I was scheduled to pronounce the list of the list of the new executive which was done after I dissolved the present administration. Currently am a former general Secretary to the association. I concluded my speech by praying for the new selected executives. May Almighty Allah ease the burden ahead of them and set their foot firm on the right path and not astray. Aamin
