Good day naija hivers, it's my pleasure to be here and also have the opportunity to forward my ways of getting a better Nigeria.
Like the popular saying "change begins from you" I will stand with the truth, uphold it and frown against evil at all level.
For a better Nigeria a lot of things should be set on track. We all know that Nigeria is no more secure and our leaders care less about our lives.
For a better Nigeria, we should always aim at getting a better leader not the leader that will bribe the delegates and also buy vote. Leading should not be a self quest, it should be with the support of the people you will govern. We have lacked true leaders and this is causing bad Governance. In selecting a leader, we should also take his or her antecedent into consideration, what are their past records? All these should be considered. I will select a good and capable leader for a better Nigeria. A good leader when elected will care for everybody and apply equality before the law, in the sense that he or she will not support people of his or her region in the detriment of other people. A good leader will surely restore peace and ruin any form of insecurity.
The old saying "police is our friend" was an old saying majorly "police is our close enemy" is currently happening thereby weakening our security. All in all, we still have reliable officers from the Nigeria Police Force that can be trusted and ready to work hard to restore peace. We have other security agencies that can be put to action by informing them of happenings in the society. Social media has been doing more good in this aspect, with access to smartphones you can easily contact helplines for any threat and security issues. On this point I will urge activists, youth advocacy groups and other humanitarian groups to work with security agencies to revive Nigeria from the security threat.
Uniting people together can stop insecurity, when have the mindset of becoming one, ability to tolerate people from other tribes and region will make Nigeria save from insecurity. Language should not be a barrier, we should care for other tribes like our siblings. Like the incidence that happened in Ondo State on Sunday, some people believe northerners are responsible for the massacre because suck an incidence occurred in Oyo State same date last year.
Every religion preaches peace and I believe tolerance can bring peace, when Muslim tolerates Christian and vice versa. Insecurity will be history.
My condolences go to Bereaved family of the Owo incident in Ondo State, may Almighty God give the family the fortitude to bear the loss. We pray to God to restore peace to Nigeria.
