Good is what is needed. A satisfied need presents the good: something needed, brought about in the process of need, is a good. As long as a good is lacking, the corresponding need is left as an insatiable need and can be abandoned as a vanished need. Noting else but a good is revealed as a residue in any gradually diminishing need. Satiated need is a good, and a good stands for satiation of a need. The quantitative character of needs translates to quantitative difference among goods. According to the specific relation between a good and the need for it, there are free good, deficient good and economic good.
