There are many cats in the streets of Greek villages and towns. Very few have an owner, most of them are street cats begging for food. Well, tourists feed them in the summer season, but they don't live well in the rest of the year. Although they are not starving because they can always find some mice and fish, they would need more care. Fortunately, there is a good example: a shelter in Sarti, where you can donate some Euros for these cute animals and can adopt one of them. For example this ginger cutie!
