Jackson Palmer, creator of Dogecoin, who started out as an imitation by the crypto money community at the beginning of 2018 and surpassed the $ 1 billion market cap at the beginning of 2018, says Jackson Palmer, what he thinks about the future of cryptographic money in an interview. shared his ideas about the crypto money community and some plans for the future.
However, as the creator of this business when he was driven to the Dogecoin market in 2013, Jackson Palmer voiced what he did not like about the community's culture over the coming years. Towards the end of 2014 began to withdraw from the project.
When you look back at everything, is it worth it to you?
Jackson Palmer: I started pulling out of Dogecoin and the community after a fraud. I and others have been trying to explain that these people are dangerous for a while, but eventually the fraudsters steal big money from the community. Everyone who dared to doubt this character was faced with so much criticism and negative energy. So I shout as much as I am out of the community.
These events have taught me the power of really greedy. People are willing to focus on the movements of the crypto money market with pink glasses as long as they make money. Self-criticism and self-doubt instinct are very low during these periods. After our doubts were unequivocally proved correctly, I did not have a strong initiative to return to the community that was broken in a meaningful way for everything I witnessed, so I completely separated and put the keys in the Github repos.
It is difficult to assess whether it is "worth it" ... I think Dogecoin represents a good example of work and we hope to be used as a learning experience for anyone entering or entering the crypto-currency field. Simply think of his presence or imagination-oriented cryptography can help bring the industry a more rational, true-based thought, then I think it's worth it.
Do you still see a future for Dogecoin, even though you are now directly involved in the project?
Jackson Palmer: I think we're moving quickly to reach the saturation of crypto money, crypto assets and tokens. Because their value and inner utility are approaching to zero. 2018 is shaping to be the "forkun year". I also feel that the tokens generated by each fork in the original Bitcoin code are eroding.
Even from a consumer point of view, the situation is very confusing. In the end, Dogecoin is another Bitcoin source code that changes the variables slightly. When we look completely technologically, everyone can fork in this way and fork can be obtained by changing other variables tomorrow to heal it. I think it is the same with other distributed books about whether or not to promise this future in Dogecoini. But this situation is very vague. Dogecoin does not have any unique features in terms of being successful from other crypto parcels.
Do you have any idea what the current core developers are working on?
Jackson Palmer: Developers are working on a new version that updates the base code base with Bitcoin codebase, which forked in Dogecoin. A large part of this release includes performance and security improvements.
