The 90's surely were natural. They were clueless to say, people were exposing themselves to the world of new things emerging and surviving through the millennium.
The millennial kids of the 90's were outgoing, sporty and artistic to say, having to spend all those afternoons after school had them explore and be keen for just about anything.
Growing up in a culture where you don't belong has its own ups and downs, you're never fully aware of your belonging. Being born in a south Indian family, you leap your way to have your own customs and culture. Surviving through the tide of a contrasting culture in the North of India, accepting and learning a new language, food habits, people, etc could be quite enthralling and overwhelming.
You speak your mother tongue at home, you learn and speak English at school. You speak in Hindi with the commoners and learn the regional language to make friends. It's certainly more tedious compared to being in a city you belong.
Well among all the chaos and clutter, there were a few fabulous memories I had while I was growing up in Gujarat. Which is the most adorable place with the most sweetest people you'd meet. Timidly trying to fit in and speaking the local language jibberishly.
A major culture shock can teach you more about yourself, in ways you wouldn't imagine. In turns people into being an introverted extrovert. Again, a stipulation condoning to an ambiguous state of mind that is always clueless.
