Hello guys, hope I meet you all going good?

Yesterday officially marked the beginning of a 14 days lockdown in my city. And it was said that it will be different from how we have been living our quarantine life. Because at this point, it seems as if no one is permitted to walk a mile past his/her or her streets/estate. But seriously that's not the essence of me witting this blog, so don't let me bore you with the whole story of how terrifying the lockdown will be or has been. But trust me its quite serious here.

Well, my aim here to keep documenting how each day of the lockdown went, so when someone (probably my kids yet to be born) ask me what I did during the lockdown of the coronavirus pandemic, I would be able read it to them precisely and not just tell it to them from the little memories I would be holding if it then.

LOCKDOWN DAY 1 | 4th April 2020

It was a Saturday morning when the yelling of my name by my Dad woke me up. It was about 9am or so. He woke me up to remind me about the cleaning we planned on doing that morning, and he told me to get out of bed and get some food before the cleaning exercise starts. So from there, I go out of bed, went straight to the bathroom to go wash my face. I was fully awake by then. I went back to my room, picked up my phone, turned my mobile data on and began to surf the Internet, basically just social media. Did that for some while and resumed back to finish up an article I was writing for my blog.

While I was still trying to finish up the article for my blog, my dad called me that it was time to is to begin the cleaning exercise. As at this time my dad had already eaten, and even taken a nap. He then discovered I haven't eaten still and he got pissed at me. I tried to explain to him that I still have enough strength in me to carry out the cleaning exercise, but he already walked out on me. I went after him tho, and we both started the cleaning together. We were to get rid of some unwanted items that have been accumulated beneath the staircase. We started the cleaning exercise at about some minutes past 12pm, and the cleaning lasted for about an hours plus.

I can remember, we finished the cleaning exercise at exactly 15minutes to 2. I went straight to the kitchen to wash my hand and then rushed back into my room to pick my smartphone. I grabbed my smartphone and went straight to finish up and posted the article I was writing for my blog. When I was done, I grabbed my towel and toothbrush and went straight to the bathroom to wash my body and clean up. It when I was done, I later when to take my first meal for the day. It was about 3pm and I still had to eat the breakfast that was prepared for me. It was bean cake (Akara). I took the bean cake (Akara) with cassava flakes (Garri).

After breakfast by 3pm, I took a little rest by just laying on my back and doing one or two things on my smartphone. I guess I was chatting with a friend. Not long after I heard a call of my name. It was my sister, she way about preparing launch so she wanted to be sure if I was still interested in taking launch. Well, I was still interested. By 4pm l took launch in which I couldn't finish eating the portion that was allocated to me. I covered up the rest and kept it so I could eat it later whenever I feel hungry.

The only picture I took of yesterday 馃構. My Launch (Poudo Yam with Ewedu soup and Fish)

After launch, I sat still so the food I've eaten could digest. After I got a feel of digestion, I stood up and went back to my room. I resumed back to surfing the internet and chatting with my friends. I also went through some content on my Hive and Steem blog. While just meandering form one app to the other on my phone, my Dad called me to come and wash his car. It was already past 6pm when I was done washing the car. As at that time my smartphone was dead. The power holding company (PHCN) didn't bring the light the whole day. So I had to wait till the specified time we use to switch on the generator before I could power my smartphone again.

After switching on the generator and powered my phone, I was about to resume chatting with my friends when I received a message from one of my school's class lecture group that we are to submit an assignment that was given to us while we were still in school via email. I hurriedly went to do the assignment which took me almost an hour to finish and I submitted to the lecturer's mail as soon as I was done. I had dinner not quite long after then. After dinner, I chatted for a while then went to my sister's room to gist with them. Not quite long also, our parent called us for the regular night devotion.

After the devotion I went to switch off the generator. Went back to my room, picked my phone, went through my Hive blog and I came across a

Quarantine Goals and Challenges Initiative

by anomadsoul@anomadsoul. I went through it and I decided I was going to participate. I later went back to my sister's room to continue gisting with them. While I was gisting with them I started writing this article

I Invested Some Money Into Purchasing A New Multimeter.

I wrote until it was 12am. I began to feel sleepy so I went back to my room to continue the writing and as hopefully fall asleep.

Fortunately, I was able to write the article to the point where I planned on stopping. It was about some minutes to 2am then. I cleared all the ruining application process on my smartphone, laid it on the table and I lay back on the bed to sleep. Suddenly, the power holding company (PHCN) brought the light. I plugged in my charger into the wall socket then connected it to my smartphone for it to charge and then slept off. That was the end of my day.

My day went in a very random manner, and it wasn't that too productive of a day. But hopefully by Day 5 when I've properly drafted out my quarantine goals and challenges, my day will being to become more meaningful and productive. Till then .....馃枊
