Hello guys! I know I mentioned that I've been traveling for most of the month and I know this might be a super late photo dump post but better late than never, right? So... This trip was rally interesting because I know I traveled alone and I was expecting to meet people on like group tours and such but what I was not expecting was to meet someone on the island right on the first night XD
I left Manila on August 7 at about 3pm, got to dumaguete at almost 5, went to the boat port t catch a ferry headed t Siquijor and the rest was just naps in between all those vehicle changes. I got to the pier and there was the hotel van waiting to pick up me and a few more passengers and there was actually this guy that was seated across me at the plane an was a few seats own away on the ferry and I didn't think much of it, but when we even ended up in the same hotel now that was more than a coincidence XD
So before we even got to hotel, we agreed, why not have dinner together and so we did. I was thinking like a that moment it would be like a temporary fling but then I really came to enjoy his company.
The food at Coco Sunset was magnificent though and I can't tell if it may have been the vacation mood or that I haven't been romantically interested in so long but we ended up just spending the whole night together in my room. He was sweet, like really sweet and a proper gentleman and h really knew how to make a girl feel special.
The next day I ended up moving into his room and I canceled my booking so I did save a bit of money there XD plus the man wouldn't let me spend dime because I was his woman now and that's exactly how this vacation went XD and I truly enjoyed getting spoiled because my exes could never XD
But for like the official day 1 on he island, we agreed that I would be a lazy day because the traveling the day before was something else because at that time, I was storming in manila so the turbulence really was something else, even at sea on the ferry.
I unfortunately woke up first out of habit then he woke up about Hal an hour later when he turned and he noticed wasn't in bed so he went looking for me then we had breakfast together ^^ I had eggs Benedict and coffee and his had his pancake and eggs with tea and we just chatted and laughing and it didn't feel like we just met yesterday and I guess this I what people an organic encounter? it was adorable for sure.
After breakfast, we wen for a walk, went for a swim because the resort was actually a marine sanctuary so w were snorkeling for a few hours and there were soooo many fishes in there! And the resort was basically empty too so we really had the sea all to ourselves.
I think we may have spent 2 hours in the sea then when we got up we both just instantly fell asleep on the big lounge chairs and he was just cuddling me because he figured out how fast I got cold and he was doing his best to keep me warm ^^ Anyway, we washed up, had a late lunch, took more naps.
I only napped for like an hour r so because I wasn't as exhausted as he was, he still had jetlag so I let him have all the rest his body needed.
While he was still sleeping, I slipped outside, onto the veranda and I ended up sketching a little. I think I HD like an hour and a half of silence before he was up again and was asking me to go for another dip but am fully convinced he just liked the view of me in a bikini XD
We did swim some more and by the end of the day, over dinner, we agreed to actually go out to have an adventure.
But of course, that evening wouldn't b complete without a cocktail in hand and a short walk along the shore ^^ Then I spent my first night at his room and I didn't think I'd get hooked on sleeping next to him too.
I never expected anything that happened on that island but it's been a month and he just went back to his home country again but w promised each other to travel together aan and that's what I'm saving up for now ^^ He has my soc med account and we're steadily talking though he's sick now so he's resting and I' just back on the grind in the meantime.
I may be falling for this man but I'll write about the rest of our little adventures I the next few days ^^ I was in Siquijor for a week, after all
