Hello everybody,
The other day I went at the backyard to clean the stocks of extra wood from the construction of our little house year 2020, which is almost rotten for now. When I picked up one of the rotten wood, Lo, looked the mushrooms that cropped up.
I right away used the mushroom identifier app to know what kind of mushroom were these.
Description
Pleated inkcap, a species of Parasols. Also known as Little parasol, Little japanese umbrella, Japanese umbrella inky.
Scientific name: Parasols plicatilis
This extremely delicate little mushroom appears during the night after the rains in areas of short grass or detritus. The entire pleated incap fruitbody rises, expands, shed it's pores and and decay with in 24 hours.
Habitat
The pleated inkcap mushroom can most commonly be found in open areas that receive direct sunlight including meadows, lawns or other spaces with short grass or wood chips. It feeds on detritus like decomposing plant matter and dung.
Cap 1-3.5 cm across, cylindrical at first but flat or with slightly depressed center when expanded; buff, grayish white, tawny brown at the center, surface smooth, becoming ridged or pleated. Flesh insubstantial whitish. Odour and taste not distinctive.
Gills
Gills free, whitish, becoming dark gray and black in age, close and nearly distant.

Now, I knew about this kind of mushroom I always see them around. Amazing to know them. I did not continue clean that area I respect these mushrooms. I just slowly lifted the other rotten woods not to disturb the mushrooms.
