Greetings, Visual Shots community. Today I want to share with you some pictures I took yesterday at the "El Café" hill. I hadn't been up there for a while, but after a sleepless night, with the idea in mind of going out to take pictures of this place, I packed my backpack and left the house around 5:00 a.m.
Personally, I consider that this is not a good time to go up when you want to contemplate the sunrise from the top, because you do not arrive on time if you go up on foot, but between one thing and another I took longer than expected. However, nature always has something to show, so I was in the best of spirits to accomplish the task.
Saludos, comunidad de Visual Shots. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes unas fotos que tomé ayer en el cerro «El café». Tenía tiempo sin subir, pero luego de una noche de insomnio, con la idea en mente de salir a hacer fotografías de este lugar, preparé mi mochila y salí de casa alrededor de las 5:00 a. m.
En lo personal, considero que esta no es una buena hora para subir cuando quieres contemplar el amanecer desde la cima, porque no llegas a tiempo si subes a pie, pero entre una cosa y otra demoré más de lo esperado. Sin embargo, la naturaleza siempre tiene algo que mostrar, así que iba con el mejor de los ánimos para cumplir con la tarea.
I arrived at the first stop at 5:40 am. The sun hadn't left yet. I took pictures of the city lights. Then, since it was impossible for me to get to the third stop in time, which is another good place to take sunrise photos, I stayed here and waited for the sun to rise, but the sun did not rise.
Llegué a la primera parada a las 5:40 a. m. El sol no había salido todavía. Tomé fotos de las luces de la ciudad. Luego, como era imposible que llegara a la tercera parada a tiempo, que es otro buen lugar para hacer fotos del amanecer, me quedé aquí y esperé a que saliera el sol, pero el sol no salió.
Since 6:00 a.m. the day looked rainy. I took pictures of the sky and started walking again. At the stop I was at, there are several stones that I also photographed. To my surprise, I came across a new poster that caught my attention because of its very direct and humorous, but necessary message.
Desde las 6:00 a. m. el día parecía lluvioso. Tomé fotos del cielo y comencé a caminar nuevamente. En la parada que estaba, hay varias piedras que también fotografié. Para mi sorpresa, me encontré con un nuevo cartel que me llamó la atención por su mensaje tan directo y gracioso, pero necesario.
Sometimes, when I am walking along the city streets, I notice that the hill is burning and this infuriates me. I hadn't considered that it could be the fault of a careless smoker. The people I usually see here are cyclists and hikers. I don't think a smoker is used to climbing. But anything is possible in this life.
A veces, cuando voy caminando por las calles de la ciudad, noto que el cerro se está quemando y esto me enfurece. No había considerado que podía ser por culpa de un fumador descuidado. Las personas que suelo ver aquí suelen ser ciclistas y amantes del senderismo. No creo que un fumador acostumbre a subir. Pero todo es posible en esta vida.
In search of something new to photograph, with another perspective, I took pictures from the ground and some from targets, such as the tower and the pine trees, where only their silhouettes can be seen. I made several close-ups of the vegetation of the place and after taking a detour I found a pineapple on the ground and captured it as well. I removed several of the bark from the pine trees, but left the one I liked the most.
En busca de algo nuevo para fotografiar, con otra perspectiva, tomé fotos desde el suelo y algunas de objetivos, como la torre y los pinos, que solo se ven sus siluetas. Hice varios acercamientos a la vegetación del lugar y después de tomar un desvío me encontré con una piña en el suelo y también la capturé. Saqué varias de las cortezas de los pinos, pero dejé la que más me gustó.
Then sleep started to attack me and I decided to return home. In spite of how little I walked (I didn't even get to the second stop), I took quite a few pictures, like the ones you can see and other macro ones that I hope to show you later, so I was satisfied.
Luego el sueño comenzó a atacarme y decidí regresar a casa. A pesar de lo poco que caminé (no llegué ni a la segunda parada), tomé bastantes fotos, como las que pueden apreciar y otras macro que espero mostrarles más adelante, así que me di por satisfecho.
On the way back, I saw that the sky was beginning to clear. Arriving at the entrance, I took another photo in which you can see the residences near the hill and the lush vegetation that surrounds them. With this I bid you farewell, wishing you an excellent start of the week.
De regreso, vi que el cielo empezaba a clarear. Al llegar a la entrada, tomé otra foto en la que pueden verse las residencias cercanas al cerro y la frondosa vegetación que las rodea. Con esta me despido, deseándoles un excelente comienzo de semana.
