The plane is finally landing
the ocean seems so close
and from this height
the ocean's vastness can be seen
The iguana sitting in the sun
charging in the heat
and with a flash, like the lightning
it's gone
Palm trees everywhere
hanging full with coconuts
so many feet up in the air
and casting shade from the scorching sun
The road is winding
palm tress on the roadside
giving the sense and view of paradise
and with the ocean close by
sitting in the shade
enjoying the view outside
feeling the warm wind and air
within the vacation atmosphere
The ocean waves hitting the sand
without a break or rest
The sand so smooth and perfect
as the water washes over
The rocky shore so beautiful
but slippery and dangerous
the waves crashing into the stones
