Apply your heart to the teaching and your ears to the words of wisdom. Proverbs 23:12
Before a child is born, he is already a complainant, so much so that the mother's habits change, for example her feeding is different and only provokes what makes her feel good, maybe that's what the child wants. And we parents ran out to please those so-called cravings. Does anyone live this?
At the birth of the demand increases and if you do not attend, the way to express your dissatisfaction is with tears, that to be calm, parents have to always give what they want. It continues to grow and soon you will hear it said; I want this! And this ... .. and this! and much more will our children want when they get used to giving them what they ask for, even without needing it or worse without deserving it. As you grow, you will continue to demand beyond your real needs and what you can satisfy.
That is why it will be fruitless to try to please you by buying everything you ask, as it will create new needs and you will always want more. In this sense, this behavior must be corrected and oriented in time; so that it does not bring negative consequences in the future. And learn to value everything you receive.
We live in a society that influences a lot so that children are capricious, although everything will depend on their parents, since they have the responsibility to teach, to strive in an appropriate way for what is certainly necessary, priority and responsible with what they receive.
Giving in to the demands of children can have unpleasant consequences. It is not bad to give our children material things (toys, ice cream, sweets, etc.) as long as you have limits; It is very important to teach the child the value of things and if it is not needed, to buy it. So you have the resource with which to do it.
As parents we must learn to say NO, with a DOSE OF LOVE, with a BEAUTIFUL SPEAKING, and thus teach the little ones to understand that NO, for their sake.
We must cut with this saying, that to love our children is to give them everything they ask, since, not everything they ask for they need, Jesus teaches us in his word and tells us:
The rod and correction give wisdom; But the consented boy would embarrass his mother. Proverbs 29:15
We correct early, if we do not want to be embarrassed, because children are the reflection of parents. And we have that responsibility with the children that our Father gave us.
GOD bless you greatly.
