I think that should be over familiarity. It breeds contempt.
Just because someone thinks they know you too well, they are likely to take you for granted. They may likely insult you because they know some secrets others do not know.
It takes a lot of discipline to know someone to the bone (everything about the person) and still completely respect them inside and outside.
That's why it's good to keep a part of you away from others.
