Останнім часом кожного дня здійснюю велопрогулянки. Пошукала в інтернеті інформацію про цікаві місця. Знайшла чудовий старовинрий млин поблизу міста Неде. Звичайно ж, вирішила попрямувати туди.
Шлях не близький. Дотримуючись вказівок навігатора, їхала близько години. Шлях пролягав між полями та фермами. Сьогодні вперше побачила поле з цукровим буряком. В основному тут вирощують кукурудзу і пшеницю. Дуже багато пасовищ та посіяної трави. Не рідкістю є картопля, якої теж досить багато на полях. Соняшник чи сою тут ніхто не сіє. Кукурудза, до речі, височенна, до 3-х метрів, соковита та має темно-зелене забарвлення. Все через достатню кількість вологи.

Lately, I've been cycling every day. I searched the internet for information about interesting places. I found a wonderful old mill near the town of Nede. Of course, I decided to go there.
It was not a long way. Following the directions of the navigator, I drove for about an hour. The road ran between fields and farms. Today I saw a field with sugar beet for the first time. Mostly, corn and wheat are grown here. There are a lot of pastures and sown grass. Potatoes are not uncommon, and there are quite a lot of them in the fields. No one sows sunflower or soya here. The corn, by the way, is tall, up to 3 metres, juicy and dark green in colour. It's all because of the sufficient amount of moisture.
Привів мене навігатор зовсім не до млина, а в саме місто. Я трішечки втомилася, а тому вирішила, що не буду шукати далі, а погуляю околицями. І знову обрій неба почав загрозливо синіти, тож довелося досить швидко завершити огляд Неде і їхати назад. Обрала собі трішки інший шлях. І не пожалкувала, бо через деякий проміжок часу, переді мною виник парк.
The navigator led me not to the mill, but to the town itself. I was a little tired, so I decided that I wouldn't look any further and would take a walk around the neighbourhood. Once again, the sky began to turn threateningly blue, so I had to finish the tour of Nede and head back. I chose a slightly different path. And I didn't regret it, because after a while, a park appeared in front of me.
Біля огородженої території з тваринами розташовані лавочки. Людей було досить багато. Вони просто сиділи і спостервгали за звірами і птахами. Такий собі релакс. Я теж примостилася на одній та сіла помилуватися живністю. І це дійсно цікаво і заспокійливо. Якби не шлях додому та загроза зливи, то могла б просидіти так не одну годину.
В одному вольєрі мирно співіснують кури, фазани, кози та навіть олені. В кожного є власне місце для їжі і відпочинку. Всі тварини вгодовані та спокійні.
There are benches near the fenced area with animals. There were quite a few people. They just sat and watched the animals and birds. It was a kind of relaxation. I also sat down on one and admired the animals. It was really interesting and calming. If it wasn't for the way home and the threat of rain, I could have stayed there for hours.
Chickens, pheasants, goats and even deer coexist peacefully in one enclosure. Each has its own place to eat and rest. All the animals are well-fed and calm.

Знаєте, чого у Нідерландах немає? Жодної бездомної тварини. Віл слова "зовсім". Тут дуже відповідально ставляться до домашніх тварин, кожна з яких перебуває на обліку, а господар відповідає та звітує за неї.
Побачила знак, типу дорожнього, але трішки менший. Біля приватного будинку був причеплений трикутник з червоним обідком. В центрі на білому фоні намальваний кіт. Це означає, що там живе дворовий кіт, а тому водієві варто бути обачним, щоб помітити тварину, якщо вона вийде на дорогу.
Do you know what the Netherlands doesn't have? Not a single stray animal. The word is "absolutely". They are very responsible for pets here, each of which is registered, and the owner is responsible and accountable for it.
I saw a sign, like a road sign, but a little smaller. There was a triangle with a red rim attached to a private house. In the centre, a cat was drawn on a white background. This means that a cat lives there, and therefore the driver should be careful to notice the animal if it comes out on the road.
