The following images were made using my custom build of Disco Diffusion, photo-manipulation and digital drawing through Gimp and Inkscape, and post editing/composition in darktable.
Through experimenting with designs I've come to give them a few materials that I think mix well with the "bio-organic" aspect of things. So, rocks, vines, tendrils, mushrooms, moss, scales, bark, roots, stones, gems, foliage, etc. This one is a mix of all this elements, more defined than in the others I've done which were more chaotic in their composition, less coherent.
This one is made of a basic shape drawing done on Gimp, one first pass through Stable Diffusion, then back to Gimp to add some colors and details (photobashing), then cut in 9 pieces and ran through Disco Diffusion again (45min per slice), then stitched and composited in darktable. I did this one a while ago, when I wasn't really using Blender in my workflow yet.
This is from the same human bust model I use for a lot of my creations, that I made using Blender 3.1, but with different texturing, lighting, and coloring. Same process as the other, except that I've done two versions of it, one where I added some color to certain part of the waxy elements to give them a different vibe. See for yourself:
I thought I liked it that way, until I didn't. So I kept the second version for referencing in the future, but it's simply to "colorful" for my taste.
This is mainly a photobash of car pieces and engines, cables, wires, computer circuits, basically added over a render of the same blender bust, to feed more details and specifics to the AI. Had to manually paint the colors as well, as the car parts I had were to "tern" for the idea I had -hence the chaotic rainbow patterns. Robots are always so much fun to work with, because if you want to add details, you really got to think of what you 1) feed the AI if using an initial image (what can you add to your image/photobash to give a better direction to the program), and 2) what words you use to generate all these little parts! Sometimes, I play with things such as "broken clock", "ant colony", "futuristic city" and such in the actual prompt for the robot, to add these interesting elements!
