I鈥檝e been a fan of Younha since high school, ever since I heard 'Houkiboshi' (Comet), the 3rd Bleach ending. I still remember watching her play the piano in that old MV. That single song started it all for me
Back then, I started searching for more of her Japanese tracks, only to find out she was Korean and she even had a Korean version of Houkiboshi, that鈥檚 also how I stumbled upon "We Broke Up Today". I was already super familiar with it long before Lee Sun-bin (Kwang-soo鈥檚 girlfriend) sang it on I Can See Your Voice, which made the song blow up internationally. It felt so good seeing Younha's music finally get the global recognition it deserved! Fast forward to 2024, seeing her as a judge on Universe Ticket made me so happy. Honestly, watching her on that show, she hadn't changed a bit. Sure, she was bright and cheerful for upbeat songs like Houkiboshi and serious for emotional ballads like We Broke Up Today, but her core charm was exactly the same, because I knew her voice so well, I was super confident I鈥檇 pinpoint her on Hidden Singer but I actually failed 馃槶 I choose contestant #4 because that voice sounded just like the nostalgic Younha from my youth. and i watched the other rounds i always pick the wrong one again and id guess the red and green contestant because they really have the same voice as younha.

Looking back, it makes me nostalgic for how young I was when I first started exploring the internet and discovering anime OPs, EDs, and artists on youTube. Younha was a huge part of my youth, and I still admire her today. Stumbling upon this video brought back so many great memories.
