Liar isn't part of my life and I am not used to lying 馃ぅ to people, especially elders. But when the need arises to lie then I need to do so. Since I am not expert being liar, all my mood, postures changes.
This reminds me of my childhood memories in my secondary school time. I lied several occasion to get what I want. Sometimes it wasn't my intention to tell lie when demanding something. But I could see if I don't use my mind, things would go mess for me. My first lie was was to deceive my Dad that we are going on trip where every student is levied to pay $10 each. Meanwhile, this a lie. In those days, $10 was huge money. In today's currency it would be around $100.
My second lie was to increase the prices of our reading books were buying for our semester course. In those days we were reading 8 books..I managed to inflate to prices on each book just to have surplus on each book so that I could deduct for my personal expenses.
My Dad and Mom were very strick and would not let me go outing with friends in times of parties, club or certain functions which involves little celebration. But, the funniest aspect of this issue was that I could manage to tell my Dad and Mom that I was going for studies with friends. I would take my bag and books like I was truly going for studies. This opened a ways for me to learn how to be with friends or mates and letting me know how to chill with friends in parties.
Finally, I had many excuses to tell my Dad and Mom that we were doing extra classes while schools have vaccated. This was to keep me with friends spending unnecessary time.
Whatever be the case, the truth can't be hidden forever. As it said, dig a pit and speak into it and covered it, by all means it would be revealed one day. I was unlucky by this time when as I could telling lies to my parents. One day, the asked one of my best friend who could not keep my secrete. He revealed my secrete that school has vacated long time and we aren't doing any extra classes.
My parents punished me severely for telling lies to them and since then, my parents could not believe me. I rendered apology through my Uncle before my parents accepted. Since then I said to myself never would I do that again!
