Muy lejos se ven
dos aves entre los montes
surcando entre las nubes
su vuelo extasiado.
Mientras amenaza
con relámpagos y truenos
la lluvia oculta
entre los vientres de nubes
con su carga de agua.
El monte oscurece
las nubes se multiplican
las aves se perdieron
entre el oscuro gris
qué ya está tiñendo
los elevados Cardones
empinados al cielo.
El aroma viene entre los arroyos
qué se detienen en el valle
formando la laguna
donde beben y calman su sed
los pájaros y anfibios.
Far away, two birds can be seen among the mountains, soaring through the clouds, in their ecstatic flight.
While threatening with lightning and thunder, the rain hides within the wombs of clouds, carrying its burden of water.
The mountain darkens, the clouds multiply, and the birds are lost within the dark gray that is already staining the high Cardones, rising to the sky.
The scent comes through the streams that linger in the valley, forming the lagoon where the birds and amphibians drink and quench their thirst.
