I want to share my view on what I title train your children to become good leaders of tomorrow. Children,they say are inheritance from the lord.
What does the word training means?
In Christinity, training entails so many things. Aside fom education which we all know to be the only way most people feel they should train their children.
There are other ways a true christian should train his or her children for a better tomorrow. Last two weeks,I visited my aunty's house here in Uyo.
So I saw the good home training she gave to my Nephew and Nice,and I said wow. It was indeed a good thing to see that even as bad as the world is,there are some parents who are still doing their best to make sure that their children are well-behaved.
So it was around 4 a.m in the morning,I saw a ray of light so I decided to open my eyes. Guess who I saw,my Nephew and my Nice. They called me, senior as they funly call me,and I responded.
My Nice called me senior,and I responded,and she said to me, please get up let us pray. I was surprised to hear that from her. At her age I wasn't expecting something like that from her.
She is just three years old,but the zeal and the authority she posseses is second to none.I looked at her,and I smiled. So I stood up,and she said to me senior lead us in praise and worship.
I did as she commanded me,after that she quoted a particular scripture she heard few days ago while we were in the church.
She began to preach to me,even when she didn't know what she was saying. I admired her courage and zeal for the work of the Kingdom.
This is the kind of training every Christian family ought to give to their children. Aside the preaching and prayer aspect, they love themselves. Another thing I have noticed about them is that they are always truthful.
Let your children know who God is,what he needs from them, and how they can live their Iives in a way that pleases God.
This is the first training you must give to your children. Remember whatever a child will become in the future,today tells it all. That's why it's easy to identify a child who will do well in the future, both physically and spiritually.
As a Christian parents that you are, strife to put them on the right track. Teach them how to respect God and man.Any child who understands this at a very tender age, will make a good leader in the future.
Teach them the ways of the Lord. Tell them to love God, fear him and admit his presence anywhere they may go.
When they finally realized how well they have been trained, they will become better leaders of tomorrow,who will lead in the ways of the lord.
