Healthy Living: A prerequisite For Physical And Spiritual Strength
Greetings members of the kingdom family.
I'm so glad to have you here in the space, you're all welcome to my blog.
It's been a while since I shared the goodness of Jesus to strengthen our faith in him. So tonight, I'm here to encourage you.
This month, we're dealing with the topic power for healthy living. It has been a moment of great learning because our health is very important, and we must be sure that it doesn't break down.
What does it mean to be healthy?
To be healthy means living a life that you really want to live. This entails both physical and spiritual strength.
Physically, living healthily entails feeding well, doing your daily exercise, taking a nap for at least one hour a day, and improving your mental health by reducing the way you think.
Spiritually, living healthily entails being fit to carry out your spiritual assignments. Most people only rely on their physical strength; because of that, they underestimate their spiritual strength. When you're healthy spiritually, it will reflect in your actions physically.
The truth is that as we all are struggling to make sure that our bodies are nourished, we should also try as much as possible to nourish our spirits. Our spirit needs to be well fed, but not with physical food as our bodies demand, but with prayers and the word of God.
Naturally, if the strength is not there, you won't be able to succeed in anything. That's because you cannot help yourself. So how then will you be able to carry out those tasks you have been planning?
We all need to be strong so that we will be able to face our challenges with courage.
In one of our services, my pastor shared one of the most powerful verses of the scripture, and it was in line with what I am sharing now.
He read from the book of 3 John chapter 1:2 ,I will be using the King James bible to read it
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
This verse of the scripture shows clearly that even Jesus himself is in support of the fact that we, as children of God, must live healthily.
Jesus went further to talk about prosperity. Prosperity in a normal sense paints a picture of money,. But do you know that your spirit must be prosperous as well?
It would not be nice if you are poor both physically and spiritually. We all need to understand God, the way he walks, and what he wants from us. Above all, have faith in him, let faith be your best weapon which will drive out fear and sickness any time they want to grip you and make you feel confused in life.
Always remember that there's God, and he demands that all should live their lives up to his expectations both physically and spiritually
Thank you all for reading.
