Air show in Abu Dhabi

We have a 3-day holiday here in the United Arab Emirates which started from Thursday, November 30 to Saturday, December 2 last week. November 30 is the Martyr Day, to recognize the sacrifices of Emirati martyrs who have given their lives in the field of civil, military and humanitarian service. Friday is a weekly rest day for us expatriates working here and Sunday is the celebration of National Day for UAE.

Last December 1, we decided to go the watch an airshow with my husband, son, my sister and our cousin's boyfriend. December 2 was the main event for the celebration but to avoid the crowd, we scheduled it a day prior. It was an exciting airshow where fighter planes leave colored trails​ of greens, red, ​ and blacks which​ symbolize​s the UAE's flag colors. At first, our son was afraid of the angry roars of the fighter planes especially the one which flew IN FRONT of us that​ when he saw the colored smokes he was started to enjoy watching it. The air show​ lasted for 30 minutes.
