The Diary Game: Day 1 At Work Nerves, Excitement And A New Chapter [06/07/2026]

Good day guys and welcome to another episode of my diary session

Today is a big one for me because it marks the very first day at my new job. I woke up with a mix of nerves and excitement in my heart. New environment, new people, new responsibilities... it felt a lot, but I reminded myself that every big journey starts with one step.

Getting ready this morning felt different. I took my time, prayed, and told myself "you’ve got this." On getting to work, the atmosphere was welcoming. My colleagues were friendly and my supervisor took time to walk me through what’s expected of me. It wasn’t perfect — I made a few mistakes and had a lot of questions — but that’s part of learning, right?

What stood out for me today is that growth happens outside your comfort zone. I may be tired tonight, but I’m also proud. Proud that I showed up, proud that I tried, and proud that this is the beginning of a new chapter.
