Robots do not have emotions, they are machines made for a specific function, programmed to comply with protocols and serve humans; but nevertheless, since the science fiction of human minds has emanated, the scientific sense has changed to things, making the illogical very logical. And is that droid like R2-D2 of the Star Wars saga, attract the attention of many viewers when faced with certain situations, take certain "attitudes" and convey emotions that we only see in the human species, and there is when it goes the big question of How can a robot transmit emotions and have an "attitude"?

Of course this does not have any scientific explanation, but we can give it from the point of view of the imagination and genius of the creator of Star Wars. From the recordings of the first film in 1977, Lucas wanted to exploit all his wit with the introduction of characters that were iconic for the world and that were never forgotten, being born from his imagination a pair of robot friends called C-3P0 and R2 -D2, who became one of the funniest characters in history.

R2-D2 is an astromech droid that is a type of droid that exists in the fictional universe of Star Wars which are built to perform many maintenance and repair tasks, although its primary function is astronavigation, so they replace computers of the ships. The sympathetic robot appears in all the films of the saga, in each of the trilogies this small is involved with the main human characters. All this charisma is able to transmit through movements and beeps, being able to express fear, nervousness or joy. Some do not know, but the little droid is driven from within by short human beings, of which Kenny Baker (from episode I to VII, currently not in this plane of existence) and Jimmy Vee ( in episode VIII and in the spin-off: Rogue One).

Defining the details of R2-D2.
Now a little color ... red-blue.
It was a whole night that I used to draw this beautiful droid, I wanted to be as detailed as possible, I did not use lines as straight, but rather make a little careless and free strokes, without neglecting the essence of ARTURITO. I used graphite pencils of different shades to highlight some edges on others, with the lighter pencil I managed to give depth to certain areas, giving a little shade. There is not much color to add, so only with the use of three colored markers (royal blue, deep red and yellow mustard), finish my work number two of Star Wars.
Final score.
Thank you very much for visiting my space, I hope you like my illustration of R2-D2 and very soon I will bring you more characters from a galaxy very far from this universe of STEEMIT.
Take care and that the Force is always on your side.
Happy New Year: 2019.
