Today was a day dedicated to the church. I brought a friend along so she could learn a bit more and experience it for herself. I also took part in the young single adults' activity, so it was a day of sharing, meeting people, and continuing to build connections during this new chapter of my life.
But the most special part was receiving my first calling. I am still processing what it means and everything it entails, but I am happy to have the opportunity to serve and learn something new. Since my baptism, I have been gradually discovering different ways to live the gospel, and I feel this is another opportunity to keep growing spiritually. It was undoubtedly a Sunday filled with memorable experiences.
Hoy fue un día dedicado a la iglesia. Llevé a una amiga para que conociera un poco más y pudiera vivir la experiencia por sí misma. También participé en la actividad de jóvenes solteros, así que fue un día de compartir, conocer personas y seguir construyendo vínculos dentro de esta nueva etapa de mi vida.
Pero lo más especial fue que recibí mi primer llamamiento. Todavía estoy procesando un poco lo que significa y todo lo que implica, pero me alegra tener la oportunidad de servir y aprender algo nuevo. Desde que me bauticé, he ido descubriendo poco a poco distintas formas de vivir el evangelio, y siento que esta es otra oportunidad para seguir creciendo espiritualmente. Sin duda, fue un domingo con varias experiencias que recordar.
