A few weeks ago I texted the lady I worked with, telling her that I was hacked and the money I had was stolen from me. I texted her so that she could send me at least 50% of the other payments which she was owing me, since I was down again, and needed those payments to continue floating for a few months.
I left the money previously for her and was not ready to drag the money, since we didn't have a written agreement there was no way I could get back my money. But I was only trying to appeal to her sense of compassion, as someone who was just recently robbed.
But as I predicted, she never replied. I think a week after that, she replied saying that the business has crumbled since I left, even though she was still collecting subsequent payments of all the jobs I did for her, she never cared to even at least give me even 10 to 15% of the money.
I knew she was excessively greedy and heartless, and I was doing a deal with the devil by getting into that business with her, but I had no option at that point but to do it.
Seeing that she wanted me to come back to do the job for her without paying for the past jobs she owed me. She skipped apart where I asked for my payment, but insinuated that I come back to the job and forget about the old payment and start a fresh with new contracts.
After I left she tried getting somebody to work with her but she couldn't.
A lot of people didn't have the type of skillsets I brought to the job, but because I was exceptionally good at what I did for her she probably thought she could get anyone to replace me.
She had tried several people I know one was able to bring that skillset, she was ungrateful and greedy, and wanted all the money in the world, but as a human being I could only offer what I can, and could not afford to push myself past the limit she wanted me to push, was difficult for her to show appreciation, and this created a toxic environment.
She saw me as a subordinate rather than a partner, and because of this she treated the business partnership unfairly.
She complained a lot and offered nothing to the job, and she lacked something that most business people or partner lacks; recognizing and understanding who pulls the weights in any business partnership. I was the one who put the ways and made all the money, but her sense of entitlement and ingratitude blinded her.
I would have overlooked all this flaws if she didn't add greed, that was where I drew the line.
Appreciate people at all cost
Even though I know I need money, I would be entering another form of slave partnership with her, because she lies through her teeth she is a very big scammer to the core. She owes me over $800 and refused to pay, and wants me to forget the money..
Her finances have suffered hard because she's not as smart and hardworking as I was. She can barely work hard enough to make the type of money she wanted no matter how hard she pushed herself.
Finally
You cannot work with people like this, but I guess we go into jobs without looking simply because of the needs we have rather than the people or deals we make.
Life is crazy, ungrateful people are leaders of jobs, firms and opportunities, they whine and nag while other people does the job for them. This is why as a potential business person getting into a partnership, it's important to choose kind-hearted people above all things.
