For over two weeks I've been noticing dizzy spells, breathlessness on exertion as well as tiredness, that I cannot really fathom. It started 4 weeks after the diagnosis on the echocardiogram. Now, I seriously don't know if it's the recurrent anemia or if it's the heart, I really cannot tell. I don't know if it's the lisinopril, but 2.5mg of lisinopril daily isn't supposed to make me this tired and breathless, and this is really bothering me. It's over 33 degrees outside and I don't know if it's the weather.
I'm beginning to imagine the worst, but what could happen after four weeks of Echocardiography, surely 4 weeks is not enough to make a diagnosis worse. I was thinking of probably leaving the country to seek better specialists, but I was only planning this for Maybe next year, when the market begins to show some positive signs. I cannot stop the lisnopril at the moment, because of the ongoing proteinuria, and I really don't want to kidney to be in a bad place.
The general and private hospitals have straight up refused me a simple blood transfusion, and I guess the only way to get it is to puncture myself with a knife on the head and ask people to drive me into the hospital on a rickety bus. So far the dizziness hasn't gotten better and I can barely cook for myself with getting a heart rate of over 100 BPM. Another thing I thought about was looking for some cardiologist or hematologist out here on hive, I made some posts on Leo a while back asking if I can connect to any of these specialists, but I think there isn't and so far I've been in the dark, relying on only google for information.
The appointments I've gotten in the hospitals I went to, I got zero knowledge and nothing. It's always skewed to get information on Google, but so far most of the information I got leaves me going without food. The hematology hospital said they're now on leave till the later stages of January, and so far, I'm back to square one, wondering what's really going on with me. I managed to attend services yesterday evening, and I met this man. So far I always run from conversations, especially those because I have to keep a cheerful face, laugh, and say I'm okay when I'm really not.
But the man saw I was trying to run away from him and held me. He kept me standing for over 30 minutes and I was really so dizzy, and when I got in for the service, I couldn't stand, and this got me really bothered, I sat all through the service and only felt better. I searched for dizziness on exertion and all pointed out to worsening heart condition. I'm truly losing my mind, and it's becoming too concerning. If I was not showing these symptoms I'd probably not worry.
But two times going to the general (public) hospital and having them dismiss me, the paperwork and access to see the specialists are just too much, and imagine doing all that and having them tell you there's nothing wrong. I'm actively taking supplements for the anemia, but after five days, I still feel dizzy on exertion. It's becoming uncomfortable and truly worrying, and after heavily paying the hematology clinic, now they're on leave.
