The Win-Win-Win-Win-Win Blockchain

I'm thankful for Hive!

Especially to everyone that's part of the blockchain, out there on Twitter raising awareness for our beloved community. I joked today that without them, I'd run out of ideas on what to blog about.

Was it really a joke? Not really lol Because the cream of the crop of the crypto community, are part of Hive. They get it. They understand how powerful this blockchain will be to everyone involved but also, to the world as a whole!

Before I go any further, let me be clear...This is going to be another 'Jongo Why I love Hive' post! I do a lot of these, mainly because every day, I get more excited about what we are all building here.

Take for example, what @theycallmedan Tweeted out today about Hive...

Break this point down and you can see, how much more superior Hive is to most other blockchain projects. You know the standard reply for those that are after green candles...They'll say things like 'we love decentralization' and 'web3 all the way', meanwhile they hang out on Ethereum.

But here on Hive, we are literally...Making our blockchain more secure and distributing the token every time we press 'like' on our favorite front end!

Beating a dead horse here, but REALLY think about for a second....

You find some content you enjoy on Hive, and you give it a 100% upvote. Let's say your upvote is worth about 1 Hive right now (40 cents or so at the time of this writing). You essentially send half a Hive to the person you upvoted and you get the other half right back in your account in 7 days.

What just happened?

You are spreading out the token to the community. And like Dan mentioned in his Tweet, the Hive you sent via an upvote, goes to the creator of the content and if they keep their Hive powered up...The witnesses they vote for get more power on their witness account. Which means they potentially rise up the ranks, and the more witnesses are rewarded, the more secure this chain becomes.

But what about what people are really after....

I admit it, I LOVE giving votes out because I get 50% of it back. That's fine and dandy. We all have to pay the bills. But what truly is magical about Hive, is that when you use your votes you are distributing the token out to more people.

It's the biggest win-win in crypto! You win, from curation. The creator wins for getting more rewards. The blockchain wins because the token is more distributed. The witnesses win because their account rise in power. And let's not even begin to talk about the layer 2 tokens as well and how much it helps them too....

Did I say win-win? I think it's more like win-win-win-win-win?

Is that even a thing...?

I think when you really understand how the rewards work here, how delegated proof of stake with the proof of brain elements are....You get VERY excited about Hive.

And if you combine that with a long term strategy (aka the 20% APR with HBD), I'm sure you will agree...There is simply no other blockchain that even comes close to the possibility of what Hive is becoming.

Remember folks, we're only a few years into this journey....Bitcoin has been around for over a decade with not many updates to the tech. Here on Hive, we are growing, each and every day!
