Steem has had some good developments as of late, but the price is stuck in the mud
Why is that?
While I can't say for sure, it is a bit disappointing in the short term. However, in the long run it should catch up if things keep improving.
We have a blockchain that continues to rate well by just about every ratings agency.
I haven't seen the latest ratings out of China, but steem was in the Top 5 last time I saw it.
Then we also have steem doing some of the most transactions of any blockchain, yet all the chains ahead of it (and some below it) are worth significantly more, well except for Kin, but that one has other issues.
It's been in the wild for over 3 years, which is a dinosaur in this space, and should help investors feel more comfortable and confident about it.
We have the development team slowing their programmatic selling.
We have all kinds of apps being built, plus new developments coming in SMTs and communities that should change just about everything.
I would imagine eventually the price will catch on.
We need to keep onboarding people and once people's friends are on here, they will stay on here too. That is the main reason people use facebook, all their friends are on there too.
First they came for the money, then they stayed for their friends.
Just gotta get over that hurdle.
