Today I'll share a project I carved for the end of my clients stairway in his home.

Another one I had to leave my comfort zone for.
Here it is after just a few cuts, you can partly see a couple otters in there.
The middle and bottom otters had knots for faces. I wasn't too happy with that.
I ended up cutting them off and attaching new heads. Sorry I didn't get footage of that.
But here they are after replacing their heads. Wood is very forgiving, another reason why i love what I do.
Brought them inside to dry and work on some more. It was October so it was cold and wet outside most days.
Burned them with a torch for sanding and color.
A little airbrushing to shadow the right areas.

The customer was renovating his home and was supposed to send me pictures of it installed. Im still waiting, so this is all I have at the moment.
