Hello and good morning all,
Today I'll share with you a couple bears I carved over last summer.
Carving bears is monotonous to me. I have lost count on how many bears I've carved in my 13 years in this business. Probably close to 10,000.
Anyway, somehow carving a bear with overalls breaks that monotony. I have fun carving them.
Here he is carved with the chainsaw only.

Was just a few minutes of detailing the eyes, nose and paws.
I even captured the magic moments of testing a new tool..
I decided to carve 2 knowing that I could easily sell the other one.
Here they are together finished...every piece is original in its own way. You can see that here even though they are the same.
