Hello and good morning all,
Today I'll share another favorite, the bear bench.
Sculptures are great and all but even better when you can sit on them.
I started with 2 logs stood up..
And carved each one into a stump bear, leaving an open space to cut out where the seat was going to be.
After making sure the seat and backrest fit properly, I took it all apart to detail and sand.
Looked good to me at this stage. Next up was the torch...
Then airbrushing to finish off with color..
Now all that was left was to varnish..
My customer was very pleased with the finished product.
As was I...
