Good day hiveians. I had this made to order crochet short that I wanted to share with you. It has an adjustable ties on both sides for nice fitting.

I am happy with the colors and was excited everytime I was about to change the yarn color.
(Selection of colors were requested by the client.)

I lose track on the duration of time as I was making this, since I have two kids to attend also. But I think it will only take 8-10hours to finish. But then it depends on how fast you crochet.

Materials:

mercerized cotton
2mm hook
scissor

Chain 67
1st row - double crochet on the 3rd chain, and double crochet on the rest (making 66 double.crochet)
2nd row - chain 2, double crochet on the rest of stitches
do the same on the 3rd, 4th and 5th row

6th row - Since you have 66 double crochet, (divide it into 2 to find the middle) make 2 DC on the 33rd and 34th stitch

7th row - 26th row - follow the diagram on the above picture

You're done on one side of the short (front), and now make another one (back) and follow the same pattern

26th row - find the middle and insert 13 chain and connect the 2 sides of short (front&back)

Now work on the 27th row but this time you will be working on the leg part
Note: make 2 decreasing double crochet on each side (beginning and end of the 13 chain connecting the sides) as shown on #4 & #5

Do the same with the other leg part

single crochet on both sides of the 2 sides short (front&back)

Make a pair of 64inches chain and slip stitch throughout the rest of the string (for your adjustable ties on both sides of the short)
Now insert the ties on both sides (criscross)
