Nothing. Eventually I asked someone. “You have to go to the next village.” Fine, I thought, I’ll find something on the way. A few minutes later, there was one. But no place to stop. Main road, no parking, nowhere for a van. So I kept driving. Then nothing again. I also needed fuel. There was a station ahead—but on the wrong side. 2.11 per liter. I kept going, thinking there would be another one. There wasn’t. Kilometers passed. Hunger got louder. The fuel gauge dropped. After almost sixty kilometers, both appeared. Finally. But the day wasn’t done yet. Now I’m looking for a place to stay. First one full. Second closed for an event. Third—no mobile signal. There is Wi-Fi, but weak and limited. So now I’m here. Writing this. Ten minutes to the next spot. Number four. And this time no checking. No comparing. Whatever it is, I’ll stay. Some days don’t open easily. They just need to be accepted as they are.
