So I bought one of those fancy “smart clocks” because my regular clock kept judging me for being late.
This new one has a snooze button that hugs you back. Creepy, but okay.
Anyway, I set it up last night. Woke up this morning, looked at the clock: 10:42 AM.
Panic. Scream. Throw on mismatched shoes. Run downstairs… only to realize it’s 10:42 PM.
The clock was just 12 hours ahead of my life.
And honestly? Same, clock. Same.
Then my friend said, “Just switch it to 24-hour mode.”
I did. Now it says 22:42 and I feel like I’m planning a military raid on my fridge.
Time is a lie. Clocks are just spinning circles of anxiety.
And the worst part? My microwave clock is still blinking 12:00 from the power outage in 2019. I’ve accepted it as my permanent emotional state.
⏰ Moral of the story: Don’t trust anything that ticks unless it owes you money.
And if you see me posting at 3 AM, no you didn’t. That’s just my clock gaslighting the blockchain.
