I think this depends on a few factors.

Firstly, are you a guy being assaulted by a woman or a woman being assaulted by a guy. While some may say it doesn't matter, every guy knows that it does.

Secondly, are you being harassed by a superior or a co-worker?

As a lady, if you're being harassed by a co-worker, the best thing to do would be to take the matter to your boss. No one, man or woman, would condone such behaviour in their office and the man assaulting you will be reprimanded or worse, fired. This should be enough to halt him. Unless he's a psycho. Psychos never stop.. But if it's you're superior or boss, then there is little anyone in the office can do to help you without putting themselves in a lot of trouble with said boss. So the best thing to do would be to involve the police. Take note, all that I say comes from me considering how it would happen in my country.

Now if you're a guy and you're being harassed by a female superior or co-worker. I'm really sorry to say that the world we live in does not favour you in this situation. We live in a world that has not yet fully come to believe that men can be sexually assaulted. As such, even telling your friends about the issue will bring ridicule and snide remarks. The police won't help because as far as they're concerned, a man trying to force himself on a woman is assault but a woman forcing herself on a man is seduction. The only advice I can give is to put a firm foot down and say no to it. No one will support you or even acknowledge what you're going through so you have to fight it alone, even if it means losing your job.
