Banana is the common name given to the giant big leafy plants terna lengthwise of the Musaceae. Some kind of (Musa acuminata, m. balbisiana, and m. × paradisiaca) produces buahkonsumsi which is named the same. This fruit arrayed in bunches with menjari arranged in groups called a comb.
Almost all banana fruit have a yellow skin when ripe, although there are some colored Orange, red, green, purple, or even nearly black. Banana fruit as a food is a source of energy (carbohydrates) and minerals, especially potassium.
It needs to be realized, the term "banana" is also used for a number of types that do not produce fruit consumption, such as ornamental banana, abacá, and banana fan. This article only discusses the banana producers of fruit consumption and its relatives are concerned.
