With legalization finally coming into play, we may see an explosion in the THC levels of high grade pot. I believe legalization will cause low grade producers to go out of business while money will be put into research and development to grow the best product. I read previously that in the 70s, the average THC level in weed was only 7 percent, compared today with an average THC level of 20 percent. I believe the current highest THC levels produced in weed is about 30ish percent but over the coming decade, I wouldn't be surprised to see that level hit 40 percent. We will have some of the most potent product ever available, of course this will be selling at a heavy premium to your average grade kush.

Another opinion I have is with research and development coming into this sector in a way never seen before, we will see new strains emerge at a very fast speed. The strains that hit the highest THC level have yet to be created yet but they will be in the future. It will be incredible to see how fast this industry grows and how far we can get.

Will this be average looking weed in the future?

Would love to hear your thoughts, and what you expect with the grade of marijuana as well as new strains/ THC levels
