I am a lover of seafood, even my first time of having Tuatua I didn't know the name and my Philippino flatmates struggled to tell me it's name but who cares, it tasted like mussels and I love it 馃榾

They had gone to harvest it at Southshore beach 鉀憋笍 which isn't too far from us, just about 卤15 km drive. So I told them to let me know when next they go harvest so I can go with.

Boy it turned out to be fun and to be quite honest I don't recall ever having so much fun on the beach at some point I felt like just rolling in the water even though I can't swim 馃槂

heroldius@heroldius have asked me in the past if I dipped my toes in the water. This time, I didn't just dip I knelt and dug Tuatua out of the sand 馃槂

We harvested over 200 of Tuatua, I don't even bother about cooking because these Philippinos are so good in the kitchen, and I must say they are very nice and humble people. Most of my colleagues are Philippinos, too.

And then came a dog that was interested in the stick I was using to dig out T, atua from the sa, d. The dogs wanted to play lol, I eventually threw the stick, and the dog chased after it, got the stick, and didn't return it to me 馃ぃ

Oh, it was officially the beginning of Autumn 馃崅 and it turned out to be a warm day in Christchurch. It really was a fun day for me at the beach 鉀憋笍
