Earlier this year, in March, I was in Nelson for work, we worked in the Upper Moutere region and was booked to stay in accommodation in Tahunanui just a few kilometers from Richmond. Basically, I will say Tahunanui falls under Richmond if my geography is correct as I continue to accustom myself to the New Zealand map.
At the reception, while checking in, I asked the lady where I could have a good view of sunset 🌇 and she recommended taking a walk-up Towsswill road. Towsswill road happens to be very steep. As seen from the sixth photos of this post.
The walk to the top had me breathing heavily, a sign that I needed more fitness walk. So I got to the peak of the street and got away with these views. I was a bit disappointed with the clouds in the way, but it gave me a glimpse of possibly getting a better view and shot when next I am in the area and precisely that same accommodation.
