It was a nice weather and I was in the mood for a walk so I got onto Blenheim road for a walk to explore the neighborhood when I was still staying in the Alpha Motel.
I discovered some streets and found a Catholic church in the process, Our Lady of Victories on Main South Road, Sockburn, Christchurch.
The architectural work is quite captivating, especially the roofing.
I probably will attend mass there someday, I was told by my colleague that the mass is not in English. A second person has recommended another Catholic church in Christchurch to me which I will start attending in about two weeks when I have my vehicle.
Other than that, it was a lovely walk.
