Poetic Cycles Tomorrow Is Summer

Make life possible walking watching Spring'ing to life, everything grows anew. Whether you come, or not, life carries on, a walk missed as life continues.

Sky above brings pregnant clouds expectant evening showers, more visitors indoors later, in a spider, shongololo (millipede), tree frogs, geckos not to miss annoying mosquito you sure to hear. Even in the dark of night watch where you walk!

Golden Eyes - Hyperolius pusillus (Waterlily reed frog, dwarf reed frog) November 2022 plenty rain, some visitors, this welcomed me into the kitchen fethching a cup of coffee before venturing outdoors.

Small flat frog reaches an average of 20mm in length found on the blender pipe over the kitchen sink. Wonderful to witness these little frogs around, light green in body colour, golden eyes, horizontal pupil identifies the little frog for me using research of inaturalist

Donkey's Tail (Sedum morganianum) Light green with pink flowers enjoy the sun or shaded areas..., so long as they hanging they appear to be cheerful all year round.

Snake Lily Berries (Scadoxus puniceus) showing through advertising the coming of Christmas in splendid colours of reds and greens.

Pink Rain Lily (Zephyranthes grandiflora) flowering frequently now with all the rains, when they seed be sure to take handful and drop them elsewhere in the garden, they grow exceptionally well almost anywhere.

Common rain spider (Palystes superciliosus) visited staying over a couple of nights enjoying the indoors, I know we talking of walking, I walk to the loo too! (That is indoors BTW.)

Flamboyant Tree (Delonix regia) another plant now in flower reminding one Summer and Christmas are here, these exotic beauties flower almost immediately after the Jacaranda Trees stop showing off purple flowers, neither indigenous to South Africa.

So ends todays walk still not covering everything one might see or find, life is full of surprises, one lesson I learn each day when the sun rises is looking around at the abundance on offer. Have a wonderful day, enjoy each moment!
