Days will start getting hot, more hours for sun to scorch the earth, for now everything is alright, after the end of an exceptional snow dusting on the mountains inland, we got plenty rain along the coast.
Clouds came over in waves of grey some heavier than others, one could look over the valley to see sheets of rain at times hitting the hills on the other side.
Birds were few and far between, moving with wet wings is not easy, a bigger bird going over perhaps a short hunt for food.
Wax flower popped open greeting the day,
Baby sparrow and mom very busy feeding between the heavy rain endured, wobbling around reminding mom not too much for you, more for me!
Insects appeared to be bathing on the petals of flowers enjoying short spells out too. Oh the flies become another nuisance along with mozzies in great numbers....
Looking forward, reminder life never stops nor changes to suit inhabitants, we step into line along with all everything.
Yellow-bill kites swooped in a feeding frenzy to quick to capture, argy-bargy between kites with some crows, again at speed with sun blinding me I tried to capture something of the moment.
Even on speed dial for shooting with camera these guys move fast....
Turning attention lower down the tree with big and small birds erupting through, sometimes wonder how they don't crash!
Swallows low shooting the trees, it must have been termites rising from the ground below, that is what normally gets some amazing feeding frenzies on the go over here.
Tidying up feathers after that squawk, one has to see how crazy the birds become after three miserable wet days, then flying ants rise with the sun, it truly is amazing!
Pied crow must have taken a knock, had to rest in the tree across the road, a bit of a long distant zoom, the big guy definite had to rest up waiting for the Kites to leave before raising on air once again.
