Professionals aren't inclined to make exceptions.

The good news is you're already on the road to mastery. The bad news is you might not like what it is you're mastering.

Every day you're alive you're getting better and better at consistently doing exactly what you're doing. If you're happy with those outcomes, that's wonderful, keep at it.

But I can't help think of Thoreau's famous line:

"The mass of mean lead lives of quiet desperation."

We trudge slowly like lemmings toward the furnace of oblivion.

WE ARE DYING FOR FUCKING NOTHING. Our only guide is momentum. If you aren't deciding what you're doing, you're a feather in the wind. No say over where you'll land.

But there's hope.
But you're going to have to let go of the one thing you're holding on to:
Your excuses.
Because the rope you hold will be the one you hang from. Decide right now.
Quit trying to deal out blame and take ownership. It doesn't matter who's to blame, all that matters is who's responsible.
Grab the fucking wheel and chart the course.

You have art inside you that is dying right now.
You have mountains in front of you, climb the mountain inside of you. It is now that you decide.

The exception you make today is the exception you make tomorrow. Commit to your path and lead the day. Seize the day.
Carpe Diem Motherfucker.

James Allen said:

Men are anxious to improve their circumstances, but are unwilling to improve themselves; they therefore remain bound.

Change yourself today. Decide your ideal, and move toward it. It may change tomorrow, but keep moving.
Don't get derailed by little distractions. Fight for it. Crucify the weakness within yourself and live a life that's full.
