It's another beautiful day to be alive and grateful.
I got a call late last night to join the cancer awareness road walk the next day.
This came suddenly but what choice do I have, it's for the work.
I woke up the usual time to prepare for the walk, although they said take off time is 7am but I had it in mind that they won't leave by that time.
I got there around some minutes before 8am and of course, they hadn't left.

Most of my colleagues started coming as well, I even met someone else in front of the gate when I was coming and we walked together to the meet up point.
We got there and began to wait.
I didn't know they weren't going to be this organized and we left late around 9am 😂😂
Well, we began having fun though, dancing, singing and walking around the streets to create awareness.
We even jogged at some point.
The good thing is, me having fun while doing this.
I was glad I joined in this.
But it became challenging at some point, the sun came up and was shining without mercy.
Gladly, we were almost rounding up with the walk.
We stopped our walk at the oncology center.
We rested and assisted in cervical cancer screening, prostate cancer screening, breast cancer screening, hepatitis test and diabetes test before I left home to rest.
I went to celebrate with my pastor later in the evening for his party celebration.
It was indeed a great one and I am glad I went for it without allowing tiredness to weigh me down.
