It is wonderful to see the everyday objects on display at the Historical Museum (Spa/Eng).

Como siempre, es un placer poder compartir con todos ellos bellos rincones que tenemos en mi ciudad, que seguro si llegan a esta parte del mundo les encantará visitar.

Hello to all the passionate friends and followers of this wonderful "WorldmappinCommunity": This is one of those spaces I love visiting because it brings together all of us who love to travel and share our experiences visiting different cities around the world. As always, it is a pleasure to share with everyone the beautiful spots we have in my city—places you would surely love to visit if you ever make it to this part of the world.

Este es el cuarto post que hago sobre este hermoso espacio cultural; la ¨ciudad¨: donde vivo tiene entre sus especialidades los espacios culturales que valen la pena conocer, y para incentivarlos a que nos visiten, les voy presentando proyecciones de estos geniales espacios.

This is the fourth post I’ve written about this beautiful cultural space; the "city" where I live is known for its cultural spaces that are well worth exploring, and to encourage you to visit us, I’m sharing glimpses of these fantastic locations.

En el primer ¨post¨:  que compartí de este encantador espacio, les daba a conocer la hermosa arquitectura del edificio histórico donde está situado el museo; en la segunda ¨publicacion¨:  compartí algunas fotografías del precioso "patio colonial" y aquellas bellezas expuestas al "aire libre"; mientras que en la ¨tercera¨:  parte de esta presentación, comenzamos a recorrer uno de los siete salones de exposición que tiene este precioso museo.

In the first post I shared about this charming space, I introduced the beautiful architecture of the historic building where the museum is located; in the second publication, I shared some photographs of the lovely "colonial courtyard" and the beautiful pieces displayed outdoors; while in the third part of this presentation, we began touring one of the seven exhibition halls found in this beautiful museum.

Lo interesante de este ¨museo¨: es que estamos a pocos meses de festejar su primer centenario, y desde que ha abierto sus puertas ha colaborado con muchas instituciones académicas; dado que este museo ¨histórico¨: posee valioso patrimonio histórico de gran interés para los historiadores de la provincia. Estos valiosos objetos se pueden apreciar en sus siete ¨salas¨:  que están ordenadas en forma cronológica.

What is interesting about this "museum":  is that we are just a few months away from celebrating its first centenary, and since opening its doors, it has collaborated with many academic institutions; given that this "historical"  museum holds a valuable historical heritage of great interest to the province's historians. These valuable objects can be viewed in its seven "rooms":  which are arranged chronologically.

Tengo que admitir que al visitar el ¨museo¨:  pude percibir una vibra muy especial; estar tan cerca de objetos de uso de personas muy importantes para la historia de nuestra provincia es una sensación realmente única. Como saben, y siempre menciono, los correntinos amamos lo nuestro, apreciamos, respetamos y difundimos nuestra historia; estar frente a numerosas armas y vestimentas del ejército de la época es muy emocionante. Caminar por el interior de los salones, y en cada uno de los pasillos das con objetos que te hacen revivir la historia, como ese objeto tan extraño a la vista, que tiene que ver con una urna de lata que se utilizaba en los años 1875 para depositar el voto de las personas. Estar en lugares así, con tanta historia representada en singulares objetos, me parece realmente increíble.

I have to admit that while visiting the "museum":  I sensed a very special vibe; being so close to items used by people who were pivotal to our province's history is a truly unique feeling. As you know—and as I always mention—we *Correntinos* love what is ours; we appreciate, respect, and share our history. Standing before numerous weapons and uniforms from the army of that era is deeply moving. Walking through the halls and corridors, you come across objects that bring history back to life—like that odd-looking item, a tin ballot box used back in 1875 for casting votes. Being in places like this, where so much history is embodied in such unique artifacts, feels truly incredible to me.
